CNAME stands for Canonical Name record. It is a type of resource record in the Domain Name System. With respect to Application Protection Service, a CNAME record is generated in the form of hash string and assigned to the protected website(s). The Customer shall map its website(s) to this CNAME record for redirecting the traffic to Nexusguard for DDoS protection.
