Netflow is a feature that was introduced on Cisco routers that provides the ability to collect IP network traffic as it enters or exits an interface. Based on threshold anomaly detection, Nexusguard’s mitigation platform examines sampled NetFlow traffic constantly collected from routers. Once an attack is detected, the platform provides early warnings to the client as well as Nexusguard’s SOC.
