IP Blacklist & Whitelist is one of the core policies the mitigation platform enforces. The rule-set policies the incoming requests by allowing or denying access to requested resources based on predetermined criteria. More "forceful" filters are displayed first. For example, if the same IP address appears on both the IP Whitelist and the IP Blacklist, the IP Whitelist is displayed first. Incoming requests that have been allowed or denied access by rules of higher priority will not be checked against rules of lower priority under AppShield. IP Whitelist - Requests from whitelisted IPs are allowed access. IP Blacklist - Requests from blacklisted IPs are denied access, unless they are whitelisted.
