DNS Protection Service is offered to protect the domain names of the customer from DDoS attacks. Two modes are supported namely Hosting mode and Proxy mode. Hosting mode is a form of DNS Protection service where the customer's domains are hosted at Nexusguard. Customer may choose to host the zones primarily with Nexusguard's name servers or zone transfer the records from its own. When registered to the DNS registrar, Nexusguard's name servers work as the authorized name servers for the protected zones. The service is charged by the number of the protected zones. Proxy mode is a form of DNS Protection service that protects the customer's name servers via the DNS proxy. It is charged by the number of the protected name servers.
